Today I am posting a twist to Guest Post Tuesday: Comment Contest Tuesday.

It is your turn to be a Go Fit Girl! or Go Fit Boy! for a comment. You don’t even have to write a guest post.

You must comment in the comments below with at least your first name. (E-mails to me or comments on my personal blog, Facebook, etc. don’t count.) You can comment as much as you want, but you will only be entered into the contest once. If you win and I don’t have your e-mail address you will need to send it to me after the winner is announced.

    I’m bailing on our annual Century bike ride (100 miles!) this year. But, I think I’m going to try cyclocross racing. That’s where you ride your bike in the dirt and the mud, and sometimes you have to pick up your bike and run with it, hopping obstacles and creeks and crazy things like that. Don’t know if I can keep up with all the fit girls there, but I’ll try!

    I was just photocopying the P90x food guide for fast food for my trip to Kansas. Not a lot of healthy options at airports, but hopefully this will get me through.

    I want to lose ten lbs by the end of September so I’ve been working out consistently for over a month now and have already lost a few pounds!

    The latest studies show that watching what you eat rather than working out is the surest way to lose weight. Just ask Go Fit Girl herself. Perhaps that’s why those of us who do work out (me: 30 minutes or more of yoga 5 times a week, 1-2 miles of walking hilly SF streets daily) don’t see much difference unless we skip the midafternoon peanut butter sandwiches or the late-night scoop of rocky road ice cream.

    I’ve never believed in food journals, but I’ve seen the light. Tracking food keeps you honest. It also reveals some interesting trends.

    I am pretty sure free food has no calories. But until I can fund the study to prove it, I’m going easy on the office stocked bagels’n’cream cheese, cookies, ice cream and taquitos.
