Public yoga classes:

I am a certified and experienced registered yoga teacher in Tucson, Ariz.

I teach Hatha/alignment-based public (and private) yoga classes (and indoor cycling classes) in Tucson unless otherwise noted below.

I teach to all levels, whether you are a beginner, recovering from an injury, needing a slower pace with strong alignment cues, gentle adjustments and some humor I’m the yoga teacher for you.

All levels are supported and welcome.

All students are welcome in my classes. All students are loved. All students are safe.

  • SUBBING Wednesday, March 27 9-10 a.m. Hatha Level 2 at Mindful Yoga Tucson

I am also a certified Star Level 2 Spinning® instructor and teach indoor cycling classes.

*Mindful Yoga Studio Tucson is located at 1101 N. Wilmot #123 Tucson (next to Trader Joe’s). Drop in is $11. New student 5-class pass is $40. (Meditation is $5 cash/$6 credit card or by donation if you are a member.)

Spring Restorative Yoga
Saturday, March 30 from 3-5 p.m. by Ann Chihak Poff at Mindful Yoga Tucson

Entering spring offers us the opportunity to look at life with a fresh look.

As nature cycles from the season of winter — a time to be inward — to spring — a time to grow and renew — this Restorative workshop helps us to celebrate this new season that is upon us.

This two-hour workshop will be relaxing and rejuvenating.

The poses you practice will help to bring your physical body to feel ease and comfort and give it the opportunity to come back to balance while also creating and supporting calm and quiet for the mind and breath.

Cost: $15 for members/$20 for non-members. After 3/25 $25 for all students.

Introduction to Yoga workshop
Join me on Saturday, April 13, 1-2 p.m. for a workshop at Mindful Yoga in Tucson.

If you are brand new to yoga, have practiced a little yoga or want a refresher on some of the more common poses you’ll practice in a yoga class join me for this awesome workshop.

Introduction to Yoga is a workshop specifically for students with little or not yoga experience. This small-class setting is an ideal way to learn the fundamentals of a safe and healthy yoga practice.

  • Learn the basics of a traditional yoga practice in a safe, small-class environment.
  • Discover the physical and mental benefits of a yoga practice.
  • Strengthen your body and mind.

Cost: $10/$15 after April 5

    • Yoga party for you and your friends/co-workers/family (one hour private group yoga class for you and your invitees)
    • Office yoga (as in I come to your place of business and teach the sequence of the week in a series of classes to you and your co-workers)
  • Private cycle classes (where we work together privately with up to two people. I will show you bike set up, the basics of riding with intervals, sprints, jumps and climbs, warm up and cool down. I will share my playlist with you as well)
